3th August 2025 – Long distance

Scale : 1:10,000 or 1:7,500 (M70-90A, M15A, M12, M10, W50-80A, W15A, W12, W10)
Mapping protocol: ISOM2017-2
A3 size for 1:10,000 and A4 size for 1:7,500, covered with plastic bag

Fist start (planned): 9:40
Competition duration: 180 minutes

Notes

­Japanese orienteering rules from Japan Orienteering Association will be used.

For description, ISCD2024 will be used. Written in Japanese as well in Junior classes (under M/W18A), BL, BS, College freshman, College freshwoman.

Prize

Total time of 2 days will be considered. Top 3 competitors who finish within 150% time of 1st runner will be given prizes. Ceremony is scheduled at 14:30 on 3th August

EMIT (No touch-free)
You can use your own cards. You can also rental cards.

Embargoed Area

You cannot enter the forest area shown in the map below. You may enter the office or warehouse area and paved road.

Long pants is recommended. Please be sure to bring bear bells.

Entry period/change/cancellation

Regular Entry

1st step: 7th May 2025 – 15th June 2025
2nd step: 17th June 2025 – 4th July 2025 (+ JPY 1,000 for one race)

Change/Cancellation

You can change/cancel your entry on Japan-O-Entry. You should change/cancel during the period which you can do them.

After the period ends, you cannot cancel your entry (no refund). Card number change is JPY100. You must pay at event center.

Special Notes

• We may cancel/postpone competition due to unexpected circumstances or conflict with brown bears. We do not refund the entry fees.
• Training opportunity is not provided by the organizer.
• The information provided may be updated without prior notice, so please check the official tournament website regularly for the latest updates.
• Bulletin3 (Program) will be posted on 25th July on HP.
• Please do not waste trash. No smoking in event center and competition area.
• We will not take any responsibility of damages you gave yourself or some else.
• Insurance for injuries is available, but coverage is limited. Please buy insurance yourself if necessary.　
• Please do not enter private or factory properties as well as prohibited area indicated on the maps. Do not damage forests as well.
• Bears and deer are observed in the competition area. We strongly recommend to put bells to avoid them. In case bears are observed, we could cancel competition or change schedule.
• Entry at competition day is not possible. You cannot run for other runner.
• Please add parking
• If you wish to use the parking facilities, please make sure to put it at the time of application. You could be charged for parking in case large demand.
